Fujitsu Limited (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President: Tatsuya Tanaka; “Fujitsu”) and transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; “transcosmos”) have agreed to a stock transfer involving shares of Fujitsu Human Resource Professionals Limited (Headquarters: Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan; President: Kenji Hirayama; “Fujitsu Human Resource Professionals”). As of February 1, 2016, transcosmos completed its acquisition of these shares to gain a 49% stake in Fujitsu Human Resource Professionals.
Fujitsu Human Resource Professionals, a shared service company that handles general human resources operations such as payroll accounting and employment management for Fujitsu and its group companies, was a wholly owned Fujitsu subsidiary. With this transfer of shares, Fujitsu and transcosmos will jointly manage its operations, and by combining the wealth of experience and know-how that can be offered only by transcosmos, a BPO (*1) service specialist, will enhance and thoroughly streamline quality, cost and delivery of contracted business.
